Just a fabulous time! Paulo picked us up at 8:00 sharp and we had a nice drive through the countryside discussing Portuguese history as we made our way to Arriaolas for a coffee and sweet treat of Pateis de Toucinho. Walking through the village of ancient classical rug making including a stop at the tapestry museum. The winery tour was most excellent and personalized, as my wife got to help with the sorting of the grapes before they descended into the tumbler. So much history in the property…15th century! And ahhhh…the wine!  We were soon on our way to Évora for a walk inside the medieval walls. The Moorish influence conquered by the Crusades. The Chapel of Bones was very eerie but the beauty of the church and Roman columns was well worth the view. We had an authentic Portuguese meal with pork, clams and potatoes and wine to cut the richness and spiciness of the meal. Delicious! It was an extremely hot day and we were very glad to be in an air conditioned car for the journey! 10/10 would highly recommend!! (Especially if you are able to get Paulo as a guide!)

This trip was nothing short of exceptional. We kicked off our day with amazing rural experiences, savored a delightful lunch, and concluded with a visit to a fantastic winery. Paulo, our guide, was outstanding; his deep knowledge of gastronomy, the region, history, and culture made the day unforgettable. Without a doubt, it was the best day of our journey, we highly recommend it to everyone!

Experience a delightful journey with Paulo, our knowledgeable driver-guide. From wine tasting to exquisite food, every moment was enjoyable. boat tour was particularly memorable, gliding quietly along the river with a skipper well-versed in stunning landscapes. We encountered ospreys, grey herons, playful kingfish, and even a large group of glossy ibis, along with wild-reared horses and plenty fish. This trip comes highly recommended for those who appreciate fine food and nature.

We had an amazing day with this company. The horse carriage tour was delightful, and the impressive Mafra Palace was truly of this world, revealing a rich history we never knew. Azenhas was a highlight, and the roasted piglet we enjoyed for lunch was simply delicious. To top it all off, a leisurely stroll in Cascais was the perfect to a fantastic day. We loved every moment!
